Diese Arbeit verfolgt das Ziel, in einem interdisziplinaren Ansatz die die juristische Entscheidungsfindung und -begrundung im Hinblick auf die gesetzliche Regelung der Kausalitatsvermutung im deutschen Umwelthaftungsrecht tragenden Bedeutungselemente aufzuspuren und anzuwenden. Hierbei wird vom Autor in methodischer Hinsicht sowohl die juristische als auch die oekonomische Analyse ausprobiert, wobei der zuletzt verfolgte Weg sich - auch aus rein philosophischen Grunden - nicht als gangbar erwiesen hat.
