He understands theology of worship as a theory of practice in the context of a multi-perspective perception of worship. In considering the theology of Luther and Bayer the author sees the devotion of God as the key term of a Protestant theology of worship. Taking into account the ideas of Paul Tillich he interprets the devotion of God in worship as an initially passive existence in a personal, sacramental and mystic dimension.
