Complementarity

He arrived! First of all there was a vague shape, hard to make out, and then some details came into focus, like his hand on my shoulder. I stopped breathing as I looked at him. I couldn’t tell whether he was looking at me because his face was so bright and contrasted so sharply with the darkness all around. All I could see was a radiance hovering over a diaphanous trail. That’s when he spoke to me.
You saw an angel?
And he spoke to me. He said: ‘There is only one Consciousness. There is simply only one Consciousness.’ I was captivated by his voice - it was so calm and charismatic. It was as if the voice came from within me, and it was telling me something I already knew. I got a glimpse of a beautiful face and then he was gone.
He flew away?
