Bruxelles, Convergence Des Arts 1880-1914

The relationships between all forms of art characterizes the aesthetic renewal in Europe at the end of the century, and it is particularly representative in Brussels. Although most studies have mainly focused on Paris, Berlin, London and Vienna, this collection of essays in cultural history shows how the Belgian capital city is a historical agent in which artists and institutions found a convergence point at the heart of the European space.
