The production of literature begins with creation. Discussing the institution means developing the issue of the place and process of written creation and presenting the conditions under which the actors of this production operate. Creation also constitutes a raw material for any form of adaptation, also called recreation. The production of literature therefore includes creation, but also realization through multiple surfaces. It is in this context that the authors conducted a historical or sociological study of publishing in a given sphere. In this work, which brings together ten articles with new perspectives, the question of literary dynamics leads to a diachronic analysis, supported by thematics and the sociology of literature. It emerges that the production of literature has undergone a dynamic evolution capable of strengthening its autonomy in certain African countries. Themes such as society and production, the current state of literary reception, criticism, and the policy of literary development are explored, on the one hand, to challenge authorities to implement a cultural policy based on the regulation of forms of creation and, on the other hand, to encourage researchers to value the text and its context.
