The swashbuckling, musketeering, but nasally self conscious, Cyrano is desperately in love with the beautiful Roxanne - but is worried his countenance is not quite the equal of his sword, or his wordplay. Roxanne seems infatuated however with Christian and so our hero starts to help his tongue-tied pal with a poetic assault. In the end he needs both sword and pen, but will he win the prize?
