Just after she celebrated her 39th birthday, Donia had to face heartbreaking news and the challenge to tell her children aged 2 and 5yrs old that she was diagnosed with cancer. Instead of shutting down her successful career as founder of multi-award-winning modelling and acting agency for children - Tiny Angels, Donia decides to step up to the challenge and play to her strengths, lead her life with a renewed purpose and inspire other parents to overcome traumatic news and empower them. Donia has since become an advocate for good communication of bad news. In between treatments Donia started campaigning to raise awareness on the emotional benefits of open communication between cancer patients and their children and enable social spiritual growth.

Donia has recently launched Monster Productions Ltd and Monster Publishing Ltd which is a Publishing House supporting cancer and mental health charities and other survivors who just like her, want to share their own stories and experiences. Proceeds from her Monster book series are helping charitable causes.
