A Beat for BetrayalWith her recent investigation behind her, Elora Tune's concerns about being exposed as one of Valoria's famed Yestervere family seem to be unnecessary, her activities contained. Still, she's not taking any chances, hoping lying low and keeping her head down will help to divert attention and allow her to return to living as the traveling songsmith she's chosen to be.

Too bad her best friend, Fig Marigold, didn't get the message! Fresh off her first official (and successful) campaign, the gnome fighter's newfound confidence and enthusiasm appear to have changed her attitude in ways that Elora isn't sure are in anyone's best interest.

When the bard's next stop is forced upon her, Elora having no choice but to visit a freehold city despite her reservations, she almost immediately falls into further intrigue when she discovers the merchant family in charge might be up to no good. But when a murder yet again demands that she expose her identity, it's up to the bard at large to solve the mystery before her legendary sister, Posh Yestervere, Queen's Rogue, can find out she has no idea what she's doing...
