In 2012, several monumental events happened in my life. I was about to finish my Master of Public Health and was only a few weeks away from having my baby. The day arrived when my precious baby girl was born and I became a mother, an occupation which made me triumphantly happy. My graduation day was two weeks later. This was the most incredible time of my life, as I delivered one baby (my dissertation) and I delivered my darling little protegee! Hope was born a healthy, happy little girl.
At seven months and eleven days my beautiful baby girl was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. It was devastating news, and I knew I had to do everything I could to fight for my little girl's life. This is the heartfelt story of my journey with my little girl as we battled this disease, took hold of the spiritual warrior, and conquered. My story is about thriving, healing, and standing up for what is right.
The purpose of sharing our innermost personal struggles and intimate thoughts comes from my desire to help those who find themselves facing a similar battle. I pray that this story can inspire others to take charge of their health. Make the right decision for your true wellness, which awaits.
We are fortunate to live in a world of abundance of choices. We must embrace this freedom. I am sharing my gift of discernment to help others make an informed choice toward achieving wellness.
