The story of Maiya was born from a request by a mother who wanted a way to remember her daughter who had passed away. From that request, Maiya's journey began.

It is the story of a young girl trying to find her place in a new neighborhood that is being plagued by mischievous monkeys-stealing fruit and food, and causing damage all around. Despite her best efforts, every attempt Maiya makes ends in frustration.

But in the end, everyone learns that only through cooperation and collaboration can both the mischievous monkeys and the struggling villagers find peace.
