Look To The End

THE RISING HAS BEGUN Marcus, son of Barsadias, of the five hundred and ninety-eighth legion of our King Zoren, is defeated. After being buried alive, he emerges to the destruction and loss the king's armies have left in their wake. Believing it's all his fault and determined to rectify the actions he had no control over, Marcus begins to gather an army, but after the elves refuse to join him, help comes from where he least expects it.

As a prisoner of war, Aleksia is forced to heal the soldiers wounded in the Battle of Amarisa, but that's not all Zoren wants from her. Isolated from those she cares about, a war for her allegiance will be waged as the king works hard to make her the greatest of his tamrasa.
