Following WWI, the Allied countries economically punished Germany for that country's actions during the war. The resulting collapse of the German economy inspired one man to mount a campaign to "Make Germany Great Again" Adolph Hitler. Britain was soon in the crosshairs of the German forces and asked Canada to create a program to train airmen. A network of air bases was quickly established across Canada, training thousands of Commonwealth pilots, navigators, and bombardiers. One of those training facilities was located in the Town of Mossbank, Saskatchewan.
This book describes what led to WWI, the treaties that penalized Germany, the German hyper-inflationary crash, and the rise of the Nazis under Hitler; the response of Canada and the UK to the problem; and the success of the plan, with a focus on the Mossbank No.2 Bombing and Gunnery School.
