The Cull

While a forest fire rages out of control in the nearby mountains of southeastern BC, a group of longtime friends gather for an intimate 25th anniversary dinner celebration. When an unexpected gift of $25,000 transforms a discussion about the local wolf cull into a heated argument over economic inequality, it also triggers hidden agendas and exposes conflicting values within the tight-knit group. The Cull examines how we make subtle agreements and deals to get what we want. Deals that can undermine and compromise the values that sustain our most cherished relationships--and even those values that guarantee our survival as a species.
