Paperwork is a collection of poems I wrote in the aftermath of the death of Rhona, my beloved partner of twenty-one years, in November 2018, a death which came shockingly suddenly despite the fact that she had been ill for several years previously. I have tried to write poetry for many years but in Paperwork I set myself the highest goal possible; to aim at creating something that could be a worthy memorial to the love of my life. I hope that I’ve succeeded.
