A heroic American DEA agent is appointed regional head in Brussels, Belgium and thus has an opportunity to go to the Ukraine, where that country is part of her personal heritage. There she seeks to rescue her grandmother and relatives from the Russian invasion. Along the way she meets two retired American soldiers who are also going to the Ukraine to help fight the invaders.
