Utopia

First published in Leuven by Erasmus in 1516, and then in English in 1551, this work of fiction and socio-political satire critiques the society of More's time, and it is a call for reform. The book is a statement favoring communal society as an alternative to feudalism and an effort to promote reform according to Christian values where every person is morally self-governing.
