Dean Hunter enjoyed his life, living like a rock star while traveling the world with the GWA. He didn't have relationships because he was literally in a different city at least 300 days a year. When he saw the newest addition to the women's division of the GWA roster for the first time, Dean felt like he'd been struck by lightning. For the first time in his life, he understood what everyone in his hometown was talking about when they discussed instalove. Allissa Walters grew up in a trailer park about an hour outside of Las Vegas. Raised by a single mom, she learned young not to trust men. With limited resources, she had to use her physical attributes to earn a living. But instead of stripping, like many of the women she knew growing up, Allissa took every modeling or acting gig she could find. She got lucky when one of her first gigs turned out to be as a ring girl for an MMA fight, and she caught the eye of a local fight promoter, who was looking for women to work in his independent wrestling promotion. It took almost a year to save up the money to pay for the training to become a professional wrestler. She finally achieved her dream of working with a bigger promotion when she got a try-out match with the GWA. Unfortunately, dreams sometimes come true with a side dish of nightmares. She wasn't sure what to do when she found herself the target of a stalker.
Dean was confused by what he'd done wrong to cause the woman of his dreams to hate him. But months after Allissa had come to work with the GWA, she was still doing everything she could to avoid him. But when Dean found out Allissa was in danger from a stalker, he was determined to protect her, whether she liked it or not. He just hoped there really was a fine line between love and hate, so maybe he could convince Allissa to cross it with him.
