This book is a snapshot of the forty years I've spent as a Court Reporter Contractor. My business, Moore Reporting Services, has held numerous DEI-related contracts-before they were even called DEI contracts-across state, local, and federal government institutions.
Our work has included the U.S. District Court in Tennessee, specifically at the Joel Solomon Building, as well as a ten-year contract with the U.S. Postal Service. The list is expansive. For fifteen years, we served multiple divisions within the Tennessee Valley Authority, including the EEOC Division, the Labor Relations and Arbitrations Division, and the Legal Division.
With the State of Tennessee, Moore Reporting Services was awarded contracts with the Civil Service Commission under the Department of Human Resources for the entire state, the Department of Commerce and Insurance, including their TennCare Division, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Children's Services, where we served for ten years.
Additionally, I held a six-year contract with the Tennessee Supreme Court as an Official Court Reporter, covering four criminal courts. I maintained that position for 28 years. I also held a contract with the Beer and Wrecker Board.
My firm has also served the Merit Systems Protection Board, the City of Atlanta Traffic Court, and the Fulton County Board of Education. I have worked in virtually every court in Atlanta, Georgia, and the surrounding areas.
These experiences qualify me to author this book on dismantling the DEI initiative while integrating the judicial system.
Dr. Belinda Moore, LCR, CCR, is the owner of Moore Reporting Services and Shield of Faith Outreach Ministries. She can be reached at P.O. Box 3615, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
