Bijan Pedram, born in July 1959, is a poet shaped by profound highs and lows. His journey began in Iran, where he actively participated in the 1979 Iranian Revolution, driven by hope for change. However, this hope turned to disillusionment as an oppressive regime emerged, leading to the loss of his education and social rights.

In 1986, seeking a brighter future, Bijan left Iran for studies abroad and eventually settled in California, where he worked in pharmaceutical drug discovery, merging his scientific passion with a desire to make a difference.

Over the past 45 years, he has penned poetry that reflects his experiences of life, love, resilience, and the bittersweet nature of exile. Each poem serves as a testament to his journey and the hope for peace and freedom for all.

This anthology intertwines themes of life, love, loss, and regeneration. The imagery captures fleeting moments of beauty, often tinged with melancholy, inviting readers to reflect on their own relationships and memories. Each poem is a rich tapestry of emotion, waiting for your gaze to bring it to life.
