Elba the Able

Princess Elba's favorite room in the castle is, by far, the chess parlor. She attends and bets on almost every chess game. But due to an unfortunate gamble, she gets stuck spending her entire morning in the dusty old library-the last place she wants to be! However, during her long stretch of solitary confinement among the bookshelves, she unearths an ancient secret that may save her whole kingdom...or at least provide some entertainment until lunch! Elba's view of her new find changes when she realizes it could not only be an excellent way to pass the time, but that it could also be the key to defending her family and kingdom from intrigue. This is a fortunate discovery for the plucky heroine, for intrigue is closer than she thinks...
