She has worshipped the Monarch all her life. Its voice her scripture, its will her purpose. Until the day the omniscient machine hesitates. Its command falters. And in that glitch, doubt blooms like a forbidden seed.

Across the empire, an Emperor raised to obey secretly dreams of burning the system that shaped him. Hatred has been his private rebellion, until another Emperor speaks treason aloud, and fantasy becomes revolution.
