Love and Lemongrass

"We need to talk." It's been nine years since Steph and David traded chaotic big-city life for a far more peaceful existence on remote, lovely Orcas Island. Steph has made wonderful new friends, dived into her passion for cooking, planted a garden, joined a twice-monthly Sunday Soup Group, and thrived. David...has worked.

When a sudden snowstorm strands Steph's whole Soup Group at their home overnight, David is forced to rejoin her in the marital bed, where Steph comes face to face with the fact that for far too long, she's been living with a roommate, not a husband.

Amid the joys and challenges of small island life, the daily struggles and romantic adventures of her friends, and the intrusion of big developers and sneaky local politics, Steph and David try to rekindle the connection they once shared. But ingrained habits are not easily broken, and burying old wounds doesn't heal them...especially when one of those wounds threatens to rise up and topple everything.

Can their marriage be rescued by something as innocuous as a savory lemongrass pie?
