ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My name is Stephen Mott Daniels, Sr. aka Esteban. I am a 74-year-old veteran who has been an artist for the past 70 years. I recently realized that I have accumulated over 5000 images of my art and want to share my visions with the world. Although the overall theme represents Halloween, I believe my illustrations represent something more. Who we are when we take our masks off?

My vision is to open our minds up to what is inevitable. I want to diversify my brand as much as possible. Posters, apparel, cups, and books are some of the possibilities. I have attached a sample of my work, hoping that you can share in my vision.

I realize this is a long shot. One never knows unless one tries.

Book Summary: Shadows of Life

Shadows of Life is a poetic and haunting meditation on the human journey-from the cries of birth to the silence of death. Blending lyrical prose with philosophical reflection, the book guides readers through the fleeting brilliance of existence, confronting the inevitable decay of beauty, the betrayal of the body, and the stillness that follows life's fevered blaze.

Yet, at its heart, Shadows of Life is not about despair, but about enduring meaning. Even as the physical fades, the book suggests that something essential remains: memory, purpose, and unseen light. We are not defined by our mortality, but by the echoes we leave behind-our stories, our choices, our impact.

Profound and introspective, this work invites readers to reflect on what it means to live, to lose, and to leave something behind.
