Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas, is whisked away by a cyclone and transported to the magnificent Land of Oz. Her house lands on and kills the Wicked Witch of the East, freeing the Munchkins from her tyranny. In order to return home, she is direct to speak to the Wizard of Oz who resides in the Emerald City. On her way she befriends the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodsman, and the Cowardly Lion. However, the Wicked Witch of the West aims to steal the silver slippers Dorothy had inherited from the Wicked Witch of the East. Dorothy and her friends face a variety of challenges including an ultimate showdown with the Wicked Witch of the West.
