Despite the friends' personal desires and wants and differences they are unwavering in their genuine love for each other and spiritual belief in the good.
About the author
Thomas L. Laidler was born in Orlando, Florida where he graduated from Evans High School enlisting in the U.S. Navy prior to his graduation. Upon enlistment into the service, he was later assigned to the Selfridge Air National Guard Base as an Aviation electrical technician, assigned in the homeland to the task of training and preparing active reserves for combat readiness, after having attended various high-level classes and courses, as well as instructor classes.
I received an honorable discharge after serving six years in the Navy and have currently working for the USPS for the last almost 40 years. After acquiring my postal job, I got married and now have two children. Shortly after my discharge I began an ordained deacon at my local church, serving my community. My interests and hobbies include writing, music and art/drawing. I've had various poems published in the Best Poem Edition of 2017 and 2018. My desire and wish are to inspire, encourage and enlighten as many as possible toward a positive, productive, and healthy perspective on the outlook of life to always have hope via my words of inspiration.
