God of Chaos

After the fall of Washington, D.C., communications expert Althea Lancey travels the western fringes of the Eastern States, searching for survivors of her network and attempting to deliver a final message about the current state of the Union. Hers is a dangerous profession. The last outpost she seeks is in the fallen city of Cleveland. With the help of two border runners named Dot and Dash, Althea delivers that last message.

The Eastern States have fallen. No help will come.

With her mission nearly complete, Althea improvises one last message: Amnesty is coming to an end. Canada closes its border to refugees tomorrow. Send your children north.

Targeted for helping spread such a dangerous message, Dot and Dash's militia network is swiftly destroyed, leaving the two children without refuge.

Reluctantly, Althea agrees to help Dot and Dash reach the Canadian border, but to get there, they must race against the clock, all the while avoiding pirates and coyotes on the way to the only remaining entry point into Canada-the infamous, walled border city of Dearborn.
