This bilingual memoir in both Italian and English is a woman's story of travel, family, and finding a new home in Nova Scotia. This is a great way for adult students to practice Italian, while reading stories about the Italian culture. The second in a series, this title follows her first title, FROM VICO 1 degrees PORTA NUOVA AND BEYOND: MEMORIES OF AN ABRUZZO CHILDHOOD. These titles are illustrated with photos of the author's childhood, with scenes from Italy and Canada. Both volumes include recipes at the end for Italian treats. These titles are used in teaching English speakers Italian with stories presented in both languages.
