Silver Well

The Mortar King, Christian Axel, has evaded multiple assassination attempts whether by the Stasi, yard dogs, torture, or disease. Facing a deadline five months away where he will be imprisoned in the "Mortar Palace" for life, Christian seeks love. He also prepares the groundwork to protect his allies and the few true friends he has. As King, Christian Axel, has made a few people royal after the death of his Mortar Queen Heidi. Rather than be loyal, some of these new royals make a power play to usurp the Mortar Throne for their own children.

The is the story of Christian Axel acting to cement his position as King and Master of the Haus among those who are grateful and ungrateful. To do so he has to put in place a Vampire, a retired Captain of the Russian Guard, and the badly wounded but ever determined Silk Queen.

There is a person who lives within the walls of the Haus both unseen and unheard by the residents and those who serve them. Is this person a benefactor for Christian Axel, a deadly opponent, or more mentally challenged than Christian.
