Between 2016-and prior to his passing in mid-2018-author John Macdonald continued to work on the content of the book, assisted by many respected historians and collector friends, distilling and refining their combined encyclopaedic knowledge and reference material into what you see before you today. John Macdonald's goal was to encapsulate the widest possible breadth of the numerous uniform types worn by the personnel of the RAAF, documenting the various changes made along the way.
