When mystery/adventure novelist, Jonathan Tyler Springer tires from his routine of writing in the paradise of Key West, a surprise invitation presents him with the opportunity for travel to the Lesser Antilles. Feeling bound to return a favor to his mysterious landlord, Jon ventures to the island of Dominica. Accused of political espionage, he encounters colorful island characters while trying his best to evade the authorities. Making his way back home to Key West during a tropical storm proves to be a more difficult task than expected.
