In a fractured America torn apart by civil war, the line between hero and villain depends on which side you're on. Five years after "The Fall," the United States has splintered into two nations: America and Newmerica. As the fledgling American government fights to restore democracy, Newmerica's authoritarian regime tightens its grip through propaganda, surveillance, and brutal enforcement. When Raul Lopez, a former Youth Corps member turned freedom fighter, is captured by Newmerica's forces, he becomes a pawn in a deadly game of political chess.
