The story starts with the young stork’s curiosity about its mother’s ability to stand on one foot for hours on end. The Young Stork wonders whether it could ever master that skill. Mother Stork’s answer, though well intentioned, unfortunately has some adverse effect on her young one. In his sleep, the young stork experiences a nightmare including various encounters with other animals ending with the lion who gives him a fright. The young stork suddenly wakes up to be comforted by its mother. In the story, among other factors, I have shed light on how climate change is affecting the habitats of animals and sources where they normally get their food.
