Beside a little brook, back in the forest, a little boy’s life changes when he meets a special teddy bear. He is a present on his birthday, a work of love by his Nana. The little boy names him Maynard, and they are inseparable. In the spring, they trek through the forest, where they meet new friends. Later, the little boy plays with Harry the Frog as Maynard watches, basking under the sunshine on a long summer day. They welcome autumn with the colorful trees by the brook, and at wintertime, they enjoy the snow with a new friend named Sunny the Snowman. Indeed they are happy, always ending the day at bedtime together, with the little boy’s mother telling their story of adventure before they fall asleep.
