The Black Diamond in the Raw is a book of quotes that was derived from his life story. He was locked up from 2007- 2012 in the federal BOP, and this is when the author established philosophy and doctrine of self-help that would lead the way to success once released. Since the BOP has never really discovered if its existence would be punitive or rehabilitative, early on in his bid he begins to create a moral and value system that he could understand, and it later it had reference similar to a Bible, Koran, or Circle 7. These little nuggets he discovered out of the mind of life he called Jewels, and he mined them on a consistent basis. In his endeavor, he hoped to explore the perfect proportion of man in thought and as a perfect diamond uncut this system of philosophies would undergo the extreme heat and pressure of time, along with trials and tribulations. It would prove its ability to shine upon release and light up the darkness in the minds of those that had not been exposed to such enlightenment. In addition, the author also added poems that would be part of his encounter with this enlightenment. These never released poems are those that are more recent but shows the depth of what is in man and the brilliance that is in God, Allah, or Yahweh, whomever it is referred to by. Lastly, there are speeches that are in some of the chapters that will also send forth a message of a coming, and even though nothing is perfected yet. The underlying message is the striving for it and the process that must be emphasized for man to rise.
