Taking Charge of You: Raising an Independent & Successful Child with Aspergers

Everything in this book is based on personal, real-world experience living with Asperger’s every single day and raising a son with Asperger’s. I wrote this book because I realized that we as parents are the best teachers for our children. We are the ones who hold the key to their success.

The chapters consist of simple strategies, personal empowerment, story snippets and lifelong lessons. The book does not need to be read in its entirety to start applying the skills and techniques. In fact, if you and/or your child are struggling in a certain area, you can go to that chapter and get some advice, personal empowerment or strategies to help with that issue.

It is my desire that with this book you as a parent raising a child with Asperger’s or you may be like me, (an Aspie parent), are able to instill in your child that he is a gift that the world is waiting to watch be unwrapped and he is here to make a difference.
