When the men, who have come before you, have established the cold hard fact that they will rule with an iron fist by any means necessary, all you can do is try your best to live up to the name you have been given. Derrick is determined to forge his own legacy in The Murder Capital streets of the Nation’s Capital. As his baby brother Bradley who doesn’t have the heart or the stomach to be a part of all of the violence and chaos ponders on why he isn’t like his family at all, he still wishes that he had the same respect that shedding blood at the blink of an eye brought his brothers and cousins. Bradley admires Derrick for his bravery but he has no idea that Derrick admires him even more for being the only male in their entire family who has the opportunity to succeed in a world where violence and drug money is obsolete. The question is: Will Bradley keep his ambition to be the first lawyer in his family or will he also try to live up to the family name in order to gain the respect of his peers, who see him as the weak link in his family’s unbreakable chain of hustlers, killers, pimps and gangsters?
