Jack Jones is a series of classic adventure stories set in a contemporary time. The central characters include Jack (you can read more about our main character below), his younger sister Emma who is an excitable, strong and savvy young girl who loves nature, gymnastics and anything adventurous, and, Albert, Jack’s best friend and next-door-neighbor who is very studious, cautious, cool and calm under pressure, thoughtful and reliable.

This book is ideal for children new to chapter books (ages 6-8) as well as those who are at an intermediate level of reading chapter books independently (ages 9-12). There are detailed full-page black and white illustrations to complement the story and provide some familiarity for those who are moving away from picture-heavy story-books and first readers.

About Jack Jones:

Jack Jones is an adventurous pre-teen who believes there is always a practical explanation for even the most mysterious and seemingly inexplicable things. His parents are professors who teach the importance of education and the power of problem-solving.

Jack is a born leader who loves music, loathes snakes, welcomes input and is very supportive. He’s encouraging and always maintains a positive attitude no matter the predicament. He plays guitar in a band called The Missing Links and he never ventures anywhere without his lucky jacket!
