The birth of the United States involved the Revolutionary War, political thinking, and the religious environment. The values that characterize life in the original United States society included the Bible was respected, God was acknowledged, people believed in moral responsibility, the traditional family was the norm, Christianity influenced education, capitalism was the economic system, the rule of law was the rule, and the sanctity of life was accepted. Like a slow-growing cancer, those values slowly died in United States society. Thus, there was discrediting the Bible, dethroning God, discounting moral responsibility, decline of the traditional family, dumbing-down education, drifting away from capitalism, deserting the rule of law, and destroying life. If there is to be life after death in the United States society there must be people must rely on the Lord, recognize moral responsibility, reestablish the traditional family as the norm, rethink education, regulate some economic issues, reinforce the rule of law, and reclaim the sanctity of life, conclusion: hope for the u.s.
