This book is a book of memories. Not just my memories, but yours too.As I was clearing out a cabinet one day, I came across an old pastebook, we call them scrapbooks today. But this one was different. There were almost no words, but it was full of all the wonderful stories my grandmother and I shared when I was young. As I flipped through the pages of my grandmother’s old pastebook, the memories came flooding back. I remembered her words, her smile and her curious view of life through these ink blots. Grandma and I would make ink blots almost every day. We would spread ink in different fashions all over a piece of paper and then fold it in half. When we would open it, an entirely new world of discovery would open up to us. Maybe you see it too. Maybe you see the faces looking at you on page 7. Maybe you can see the the bearded cowboy on page 83. You may need to squint your eyes or even back up five feet away. You may have to turn the page upside down or look at it with a flashlight. Let your mind find the picture that is there just for you. These pages are filled with the stories that I saw when I was a nine year old girl experiencing life with my grandmother. But even more than that, these pages are filled with the pictures that will inspire memories for you. There are no wrong answers so turn the page and start making your memories. What do you think?Linnea Strand
