In this third book of a paranormal series, Liberty discovers the last of the sky dwellers. She brings them to the Castle, because she has been away and has returned with doubts about what she has seen and been told by those closest to her.

Through a series of events, she is helped by Mother Nature, and discovers that the world is not what it seems. Liberty is threatened and forced to spend time on the Lower Levels, where her perspective is further broadened.

Liberty's life partner, David, is the adopted son of the ruling Emperor. He resides on the Upper Levels and is a vampire.

Elathan is the ruler of the Lower Levels and Liberty feels a strong attraction to him.

David and Elathan are the leaders of the two factions that will go to war, with Liberty as the prize. They have both manipulated her from a young age. They are the ones she is running from when she escapes the Castle.

Her journey then starts to find her true beginnings and discover who she really is. She needs Clarity.
