Free Indeed

Is obedience to God a struggle for you? Are you called to follow Christ’s lead but find yourself sorely tempted to do otherwise? Is there a battle in your soul, a war between the will of God and a countering force within that pulls in another direction?

It doesn’t have to be that way. Although many influences in the church today teach that such a struggle is normal, the Bible teaches otherwise. Jesus Christ has already won the victory for his followers.

Jesus said, Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. And the slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. If therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

Come and embrace this freedom Christ offers. Break the chains that restrain you. Reject the falsehoods that discourage you. Follow the light that will lead you out of barren wastelands and into fertile fields where you can bear fruit for God as a son who is free indeed.
