Atlas in Chains: America in Decline

Political Thriller - Patrick and Shea develop a revolutionary engine that improves its efficiency so dramatically that it threatens the government’s on-going war against fossil fuels. In this dystopian future, the pair battles an increasingly authoritarian government bent on destroying capitalism and the underlying democratic principles upon which the country was founded. Bullied and threatened by federal authorities who have teamed up with a big corporate competitor, the couple fight back against the great powers in Washington. However, out-gunned and out-financed, the world of the two entrepreneurs collapses. It is only when they team-up with a feisty senator from Wyoming that they find renewed courage to fight back. This sets the stage for a confrontation the nation hasn’t seen in nearly two hundred years, and one which no one wanted - then or now.
