Jack Garland didn’t think anything could get any worse after the kidnapping of his two children, Gracie and Greg, on the Wrong Bus. But, once he received the letter from Katie Lee Bradford, stating that he was her real father, Jack’s world came crashing down on him. Jack desperately tried to explain the total impossibility of him being Katie’s father, but his wife, Lacy, would have none of it. After suffering through the kidnapping of two of her four children, she just wasn’t ready to accept, let alone believe anything Jack had to tell her. Jack realizes he is going to have to go back to America’s involvement in the Chinese war against Japan, to one particular member of the American Volunteer Group, also known as the ‘Flying Tigers.’ He is then going to have to bring the story Full Circle if he is ever going to convince Lacy of his fidelity. Just like it does for everyone else, though, life begins to get in the way. A fire and another kidnapping unravel Jack’s plans and he finds himself not only fighting for Lacy’s love, but most desperately for her life. Just the fact that Jack had hidden his involvement with ‘Rescuers Without Borders’ from her for almost twenty-five years was enough to justify Lacy’s original skepticism that anything Jack now told her held any ring of truth. Unfortunately for her, though, she was going to be brought face to face with her own culpability in the nightmare scenario that was enveloping her family. Both Jack and Lacy are going to have to deal with hidden parts of their pasts if they are going to reconcile their relationship and salvage their marriage. Life usually comes Full Circle for all of us, but it doesn’t always bring along all the monsters from our past. Jack and Lacy Garland are going to find that life does exactly that to them. Ron was born and raised in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, but has resided in Greencastle, PA for the last twenty years with his wife, Beth, and his four children. This is Ron’s third book published since his retirement from public school education and administration. Ron also enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering in his adopted community, and doing mission work through his church.
