Journalist and photographer Lili Holzer-Glier’s (born 1988) Rockabye provides a glimpse of post-Hurricane Sandy Queens–its damaged landscape and debris, as well as its residents, who continue to pay the emotional, financial and physical toll of the storm. The volume pays homage to the resilience of a rebuilding community. Lili Holzer-Glier is a photographer and journalist based in New York City. She received her B.F.A in Photography and Imaging from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and her M.S. in digital media from The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Her work has appeared in Newsday, The New York Times, Quartz, The New Yorker, Thirteen and The Huffington Post. David Breslin is the associate director of the Research and Academic Program and associate curator of contemporary projects at the Clark Art Institute. In addition, he was recently selected to serve as the new Chief Curator of the Menil Drawing Institute.
