Dark in the Forest

While Hellie and her twin sister, Angel, were growing up, their Grandmother Powers taught them that the forest behind their house in Shawon, Colorado, was enchanted. She said the woods were full of wondrous, unseen creatures whose presence created an atmosphere of beauty and tranquility. Hellie believed every word.

Then, through a chance encounter with a young man named Kaden, Hellie learns that her grandmother was only partially correct.
