Finally - a book that is specific to human resources and organizational management in the non-profit sector. There are hundreds of books that have been written about managing human resources in the private sector and some that address HR management in both the public and the non-profit sectors, but we are indeed different. This book is a true reflection of the author and how his firm works with nonprofits. They are experienced HR professionals who understand the context in which we work because so much of their business has focused on nonprofits over the last ten years. The content of this book is great; highly readable. I seriously wish I had a reference like this twenty years ago. Even the most seasoned manager will likely learn something new by reading this book.
