In May 2008 - shortly after being named ‘Person of the Year’ by the Los Angeles Times - Mike Farrell drove himself across the country on a book tour like no other. Networking with political groups (and friends like Joseph Wilson and Valerie Plame), Farrell has redefined the very concept of book touring and ‘promotion’ through a progressive lens. Leaving his hometown of Los Angeles in his trusty rental car - a Prius nicknamed ‘Mule’ - he travelled across the country and back.
