Reverend Harry G. Kapeikis, retired Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada pastor, writes this fourth memoir from the perspective of imagined beings Xrisme and Text who live beyond Earth’s galaxy and have been endowed with a Love by their Creator. Their sun is running down; they are sent to watch Harry’s ministry to determine if his world is a loving place for non-earthlings. Kapeikis showcases a complex interplay of daily-life realities and ministry ideals with mixed outcomes of soul-searching struggles, roaring successes and far-reaching benedictions. Above and through all, the author learned to listen and learn how inexhaustible is the Creator’s love. Harry Kapeikis is a retired Lutheran Minister. Following an adventurous WWII childhood in Latvia, his family immigrated to the United States in 1949. An ambitious young man, he became a captain in the US military, followed by an architect, and finally a Lutheran pastor in western Canada. Harry Kapeikis lives in Penticton, BC, Canada, with his wife JoAnn. This is his fourth memoir. Previous titles are: Exile to Latvia: My WWII Childhood from Survival to Opportunity; Beyond All Dreams: Coming of Age in Post-War America; and Sensing the Call: Our Journey into God’s Ministry.
