He was a featured guest, in 2005, on Lifestyle Cafe, on The Lifestyle Channel, preparing Turkish g?zleme, and won first place in the 2007 Hepburn Springs-Daylesford Swiss-Italian Festival Best Pasta Sauce Competition, for a Basil-Chili Tomato Sauce, with Guanciale, Fennel Sausage & Kangaroo Braciole.

He was shortlisted for the 2020 Australian Photography: Photographer of the Year and he took the enticing food photographs for this cookbook.
