BILLY THE CANARY HAPPILY LIVES IN A CHARMING GOLD CAGE until the day he meets a magpie named Philly. Philly convinces Billy to share a day of freedom with her outside of his cage and although reluctant to leave, Billy soon agrees. The two birds discover that while they are different in many ways, they share strong similarities.

Forming a special friendship, Billy and Philly enjoy many adventures in each other's company.
